The history of Therma-Chem.
Two Entrepreneurs Ron Semple and Robert Moffatt started developing a unique chemical formula and called the business Interchem.
1984
Therma-Chem was born
1984
Chemical ready for market. First client - ICI in Scotland.
1985
First Refinery client - BP
1986
Expanded into ICI England
1989
Started working with Esso at Fawley
1993
Treated first 500 MW boiler for CEGB (Central Electricity Generating Board)
1997
Head office site established with manufacturing plant
1998
Engaged first distributor – Energy Serv, Romania
2001
First Shell site UK at Stanlow
2002
Introduced to Shell, Montreal - first Client in Canada. Further expansion into Esso plants in Holland, Belgium France and Italy
2006
Joint Initiative between Romania and the Danish Government resulting in Therma-Chem receiving the JI UNFCC accreditation 2007 Started working with Shell and Exxon Mobile in Singapore
2007
Started working with Shell and Exxon Mobile in Singapore
2011
Expansion into Singapore
2013
SWCC, Saudi Arabia gains UNFCC accreditation for CO2 reduction
