Therma-Chem Completes Innovate UK EDGE Scale-Up Project to help Drive Growth and Global Expansion

Therma-Chem has successfully completed an ambitious Scale-Up project with support from Innovate UK EDGE, achieving major milestones across sales, organisational development, cyber security, and financial planning.

The programme provided expert, hands-on support that helped put in place the right strategy, processes, and tools to scale sustainably, and the results are already paying off, with new contracts secured, expansion into the UK Biomass Sector as well as working with new distributors in Vietnam and the UAE in the last 6 months.

The project has helped Therma-Chem to enhance its sales and marketing approach with new tools and processes, safeguarded its unique technology and brand, and defined clear organisational values and a roadmap for future recruitment and expansion. Cyber security was significantly improved through new policies, training, and plans for accreditation, while financial modelling and product development work set the stage for long-term strategic planning and innovation.

Therma-Chem now has a clear roadmap for continued growth. Plans are underway to:

• Recruit three new team members to strengthen operations.
• Appoint two new distributors in Turkey and the Philippines to boost international sales.
• Continue testing new equipment to optimise solutions for clients.
• Identify a new manufacturing site to support future capacity needs.
• Progress with Cyber Essentials accreditation to ensure robust cybersecurity across operations.
